A window well is small, but a bad one can flood a basement, invite pests, or fail an egress inspection. We excavate to the footing, tie new wells directly into the weeping tile, backfill with clean drainage stone, and finish with a cover that keeps leaves, animals, and rain out. Every well is sized to meet Ontario Building Code egress requirements when the window is a bedroom.

Retaining walls fail from water, not weight. We install engineered drainage behind every wall, use geogrid reinforcement on anything over three feet, and finish with materials chosen for how they age — armour stone, natural ledgestone, or segmental block. When a wall is done right, you shouldn’t have to think about it again.

Interior systems manage water after it enters the basement. Exterior waterproofing keeps it out in the first place — which is why every insurance company, engineer, and honest contractor considers it the permanent solution. We excavate to the footing, remove old parging, apply a full-height rubberized membrane, add dimpled drainage board, and replace the weeping tile with a new sump tie-in. It’s a big job. It’s also the last time you’ll ever do it.
